WATCH: Woman narrowly escapes Greenside hijacking
A woman, presumed to be the victim, can be heard recounting the incident.
A woman was pushed to the floor in what can be seen as a planned hijacking of a silver vehicle. The footage of the hijacking shows a vehicle, driven by the assailants, park next to the targeted vehicle.
The number of the perpetrators remains unclear, although the footage shows a scuffle between the victim and one of the hijackers. The hijacker can be seen violently shoving the woman to the floor before making a run for it towards a getaway car that is strategically parked next to the targeted vehicle.
A woman, presumed to be the victim, can be heard recounting the incident: “He just pushed me to the floor, because he was trying to get the keys. He swang me quite hard to the floor. I don’t feel hurt, just my finger.”
An inquiry has been sent to law enforcement and an update will be provided once they have provided feedback on the exact facts surrounding the hijacking.
