A body of a baby was found on the Boulevard, Alberton on Tuesday morning, June 18, Alberton Record reports.
According to construction workers on site, the body was found by municipal workers attending to a blocked drain. Once the blockage was cleared and water flowed, the body was discovered in the drain.
R24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene earlier this morning.
Police have also since arrived and have begun their investigation.
