Smash-and-grabbers arrested in Alberton with toy gun

According to CPS Security, the weapon recovered at the scene was not a genuine firearm.


Two suspects were apprehended by Fox Security and CPS Security’s reaction units after they attempted to rob a lady at the robot this morning, May 20, on Swartkoppies Road, Brackenhurst, Alberton Record reports.

One suspect was arrested by CPS Security and the other suspect arrested by Fox Security. The suspects are between the ages of 26 and 28 years of age.

According to CPS Security, weapon recovered at the scene was not a firearm but a toy gun that looked like a firearm.
