It is alleged that four suspects tried to flee the scene of the house robbery in a charcoal Kia Rio on Tuesday when security companies gave chase. The suspects later crashed into a tree.

The details surrounding the house robbery have not yet been released by police.

Rosebank police spokesperson Sergeant Bongi Mdletshe said all four suspects were arrested, three were detained at Rosebank police station, while the fourth suspect was at the Parkview police station.

Police recovered items which were apparently worn by suspects. The items looked like pieces of wool that contained muthi inside a small package. It allegedly “protected them”, and made them “invincible or untouchable when they commit crimes”.
