Toddler dies in Pretoria East crash

A toddler died when a bakkie carrying a group of churchgoers overturned on the N4 highway at Simon Vermooten Road off-ramp on Sunday afternoon, Pretoria East Rekord reports.
Another toddler was also critically injured in the accident in Pretoria East said Tshwane emergency services spokesperson Charles Mabaso.
“Six people – mostly aged between two and four – sustained serious to moderate injuries and 14 others sustained light injuries,” he said.
“The patients were transported to Mamelodi and Tshwane district hospital.”
The cause of the accident is still undetermined and will form part of investigations.
