A 55-year-old man has appeared in the Prince Albert Magistrate Court after being accused of raping his granddaughter, reports Oudtshoorn Courant.
The man was arrested on Sunday afternoon at the house he shared with his extended family, after the victim, a primary school child, was medically examined. Police responded to the rape allegations and took her to a doctor, with the help of her parents.
