The fled into the residential area where their movements were tracked and sent to law enforcement.

There is currently an active crime scene in Lombardy East where seven suspects have reportedly been cornered in a house in the area.

Gunfire was also reportedly been exchanged between law enforcement and the suspects.

The confrontation reportedly began after an attempted cash-in-transit heist in Lyndhurst which saw the suspects flee after their attempt failed.

Twitter user @irisgirling shared how a neighbourhood watch Whatsapp group assisted in the arrest by sharing tip-offs of the suspects’ movements through the neighbourhood.

One suspect is still on the loose.
