Oscar Pistorius's murder trial adjourned at noon on Wednesday because his defence was not ready to cross-examine the new witness on the stand.

His counsel Barry Roux SC asked Judge Thokozile Masipa for an adjournment to prepare as Kevin Lerena was not the witness they were expecting.
He also quipped that since Lerena was a boxer, perhaps his co-counsel Kenny Oldwage should do the cross-examination this time.
Lerena’s appearance is related to the charge that Pistorius allegedly discharged a firearm at Tashas restaurant in Melrose Arch in Johannesburg in January 2013.
