Charges against Oscar Pistorius – how the judge ruled

Murder – That on 14 February 2013 at Silverwoods Country Estate, Pretoria, Pistorius unlawfully and intentionally killed Reeva Steenkamp.

Verdict: Not guilty of murder, not guilty of premeditated murder. Guilty on alternative charge of culpable homicide.

Contravening the Firearms Control Act. That on 30 September 2012 Pistorius unlawfully fired a shot through the open sunroof of a car near Modderfontein in Kempton Park.

Verdict: Not guilty.

Contravening the Firearms Control Act. That in January 2013 at Tasha’s Restaurant in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, Pistorius unlawfully discharged a firearm in a public place without good reason to do so.

Verdict: Guilty.

Contravening the Firearms Control Act. That on 16 February 2013 at Silverwoods Country Estate Pistorius unlawfully had .38 ammunition in his possession.

Verdict: Not guilty.
