An alleged serial rapist appeared in the Pinetown Magistrate Court on Thursday, and had 11 new charges added to his list of offences, reports Highway Mail.
The 29-year-old man is accused of luring his victims to the Westville and New Germany areas with the promise of work.
He currently faces 30 counts of rape committed along the M19 highway.

According to KZN police spokesperson Col Thembeka Mbele, he was arrested in New Germany at his place of work earlier this year following another rape incident, involving a 25-year-old victim, along the same highway on January 18.
In March 2018, the Highway Mail published an article about a 58-year-old woman who was found naked and bound by a motorist on the M19. She was promised a job by the man and while they were on their way to meet her “potential employer”, he lured her into a bush where he raped her and took her belongings.
Mbele confirmed that it was the same man.
Reports to the Highway Mail about women who claimed they were lured by employment opportunities and then raped by the notorious M19 rapist date back to 2017.
Last year, another serial rapist, 30-year-old Mthobisi Mnyandu, was sentenced to five terms of life imprisonment and a total of 68 years imprisonment for a string of rape incidents in the KwaDabeka area.
The matter was adjourned to March 8.
