Court orders political parties to disclose their private funding
The ruling follows an application by non-profit organisation My Vote Counts.

The Western Cape High Court on Wednesday ruled that political parties in the country must disclose their private funding.
Judge Yasmin Meer ruled that Parliament had 18 months to the Promotion to Access of Information Act (PAIA) to compel parties to reveal their private funding sources.
