‘It’s the year of the artist,’ says McKenzie as department sponsors Delicious Festival’s celebration of democracy

South African jazz legend Hugh Masekela died on Tuesday at the age of 78 after a decade-long battle with prostate cancer.
His unexpected passing has triggered an outpouring of tributes to his music, his successful career and his anti-Apartheid activism.
Many celebrities took to social media to share their memories of Masekela and express their condolences.
