Car crashes through store window at petrol station in Secunda
The car crashed into the convenience store in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A quiet Sunday morning in Secunda was abruptly interrupted when a vehicle went crashing through the window of the convenient store inside a Sasol petrol station in the town’s CBD.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning. According to reports, the female driver lost control of her car.
Police and emergency services personnel were sent to the scene. No serious injuries were reported.

This is not the first time South Africans have seen reports of a driver crashing into a store.
In February, the driver of a Porsche drove through the window of Lynwood coffee shop, JulieBean.
Julie and Riaan Venter, the proprietors of the coffee shop, said at the time that although they had to close their their establishment for a while, there were no casualties.
Speaking to Rekord, Riaan said they were grateful the incident did not cause any harm.
Four injured at Pavilion Shopping Centre
In December last year, four store workers at the convenience store in an Engen petrol station, outside the Pavilion Shopping Centre in Westville, suffered injuries when a Hyundai drove through the main window.
The incident also happened in the early hours of the morning. Paramedics arrived at the scene to attend to the injured. ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said both the patients and the driver were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Meanwhile, in January, at the New Salt Rock shopping centre at the north coast of KwaZulu-Natal, a woman accidently drove her vehicle into the window of pizza restaurant, Col’Cacchio, narrowly missing patrons at the restaurant who were sitting down at the tables.

Medi Response KZN paramedics said that while the driver suffered moderate injuries, no one else was injured.
