Buffaloes won’t vote ANC, says ANCYL over Cyril’s donation to Limpopo village

The ANCYL has explained why they will not be attending Ramaphosa’s charity and wildlife event at Matsila village, near Vuwani.

Ramaphosa donated three buffaloes, 15 impalas and 10 elands to the Matsila Wildlife Economic Project.

Spokesperson of the ANCYL Matome Moremi in Limpopo argued that Ramaphosa could have donated to schools in and around the area instead, as Matsila is close to the Vuwani district where dozens of schools were burnt in community protests last year.

“Buffalos will not vote for the ANC in the next coming national elections,” he told City Press.

Chief Livhuwani Matsila of Matsila Village approved of Ramaphosa’s donation.

“This project will assist members of the community to pilot radical economic transformation. We appreciate the efforts of the deputy president to assist the members of the community to boost their economy.”

“Most people are of a view that this industry of game farming is mostly for white people, but that’s not the case. We want to see more black people being involved in wildlife farming. We requested assistance from the deputy president, and he assisted us,” said the Matsila chief.

Moremi, however, insisted the ANCYL in Limpopo would not be apart of what they deemed “buffalo parade”. He added Vuwami and surrounding areas had people who were starving and in need of a monetary donation instead.
