Budget pro poor – Dlamini
Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene's 2015/16 budget covers the needs of the poor, Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini said on Wednesday.

“The issues of the poor were looked into thoroughly, the budget is pro poor,” she said.
Nene announced an additional R7.1 billion for social grants and pensions.
Old age pensions would increase by R60 to R1410, child support grants were increased to R330, and foster care grants increased by R30 to R860.
Dlamini said social grants were for vulnerable groups.
“Government and South Africans are investing in young people, as more than 11 million grants go to children. This is an investment in young people.”
