Arthur Mafokate assault case postponed
The Kwaito star is alleged to have abused his ex-girlfriend, causing her to undergo surgery.

The assault case against Kwaito musician Arthur Mafokate was postponed on Wednesday.
Mafokate appeared in the Midrand Magistrates’ Court over the assault of ex-girlfriend and fellow musician Busisiwe ‘Cici’ Thwala.

The Kwaito star is facing assault charges with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The assault took place in June last year and caused Thwala to undergo a pelvic replacement operation.
Mafokate allegedly dragged her through the streets with his car.
Mafokate also opened an assault docket against Thwala, who pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The matter is postponed to May 11.
