Parent suspected to have died in accident on way to Hoërskool Driehoek

Vaal Weekblad has received an unconfirmed report that a woman was seriously injured after being involved in a car accident next to the Vaal Mall in Vanderbijlpark.

It is believed that the woman was a parent of one of the learners at Hoërskool Driehoek, where a structural collapse killed three learners and injured at least 21 people on Friday morning.

Reports indicate that the woman was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, with unconfirmed reports indicating that she then succumbed to her injuries.
