Former ANC communications manager Keith Khoza injured in car crash

Khoza will reportedly need surgery on both of his hands.

Keith Khoza, former National Communications Manager for the ANC, will need to undergo operations on both of his hands after his car was involved in a head on collision on the road from Zimbali, The Daily Sun reports.

ANC acting spokesperson Dakota Legoete confirmed that the accident took place on Thursday.

Khoza was reportedly on his own when the collision took place. He was reportedly saved by his safety belt.

Khoza resigned from his position of ANC communications manager in 2016, to return to the Gauteng provincial government administration, it was reported at the time.

“The African National Congress regretfully announces the resignation of Comrade Keith Khoza as National Communications Manager of the ANC, effective 1 March 2016,” ruling party spokesperson Zizi Kodwa said.

“Since joining the administrative corps of the ANC, Comrade Keith has been an invaluable part of the Department of Information and Publicity and the ANC at large, selflessly serving the movement and for this we thank him. We are confident he will not be lost to the ANC communications machinery and we wish him nothing but the very best,” Kodwa added.
