2023 prediction: Brace yourselves for a chaotic year

Everyone hopes for a better year ahead when the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve. It’s an annual wish and hope spreads as quickly as it dies a sudden death when reality bites a few months after the hangover has passed.

A prediction foresees chaos.

Intuitive healer and Reiki master Anna-Marie Viviers of Heavenly Healing said that South Africans can expect a tough year in 2023.

After consulting with her spiritual guides and validating their prediction guidance through astrology, Viviers said that we must brace ourselves.

She said: “I think we are all glad to see the end of 2022, but the bad news is that while it was a chaotic and disappointing year, we’re likely in for a massive roller coaster ride in the next 12 months, and it’s not going to be thrilling.”

Viviers said that while she does not intend to be a prediction-doomsday-speaker, her guides have indicated that inflation will continue to be somewhat steep, the world economy will cool down more and central banks will tighten monetary policies in several markets.

She also doesn’t see the Russia Ukraine war ending soon. She said: “And all of this will have a large impact on our economy, as it does.”

Politically she said that despite President Ramaphosa’s success at the ANC elective conference, there is a prediction of turmoil in the halls of power.

There doesn’t seem to be an end to factions in the ruling party. She also suggests that government will fail to significantly prosecute many guilty of corruption.

Viviers warned of violence.

She said: “The political instability will filter down to our daily lives and we will see an increase in pockets of violence and bloodshed. The less fortunate, who are being ignored, are rising up spiritually as they tire of being bypassed by those in power. If nothing is done, the collective vibration of the downtrodden can create significant challenges in our country next year.”

But, she added, there is a glimmer of hope. Her guides have shown her that there will also be an uprising of a more positive nature toward the end of 2023.

“As the year progresses the collective consciousness of the country will start turning its tide, and citizens will start standing up for what they believe in. It may just signal the rebirth of the Rainbow Nation,” she predicted.

Viviers said that while the pandemic was officially over, a few key figures may meet their maker due to illness in 2023.

Astrologically she said Mars retrogrades with Earth and will bring further chaos into an already chaotic world.

But it will be softened by Taurus, which will also add some positive family stability into the mix.

Spiritually, she said, the sustained chaos will accelerate a progression of people moving away from traditional western ways of dealing with stress and hardship.

Viviers added that a growing number of what she calls ‘lightworkers’ or spiritual guides on earth, will facilitate this.

She said: “It will be much needed to help people suffering from disease and illness, spiritually, emotionally and physically, and ignite momentum to heal the world. It’s becoming a very bad place.”

“To survive 2023 we need to buckle our seatbelts for an amazing ride. It may end up being unstable and chaotic, but we must know that beyond the troubles will lie a more placid, fortunate and loving future. We just have to get through the next year.”
