Senzo death ‘exposer’ taunts Chicco Twala that he can’t find him

The Twitter account @AdvBarryRoux continues to make serious allegations against several prominent people, secure in apparent anonymity.

A Twitter parody account that has achieved some fame for passing itself off as a hardcore source of investigative journalism, @AdvBarryRoux, on Thursday mocked musician Sello “Chicco” Twala for his apparent inability to uncover his true identity.

He wrote that Twala had achieved “dololo results” since hiring investigators in February.

It is notoriously hard to track down a Twitter user who does not want to be found.

The @AdvBarryRoux account is anonymous and does not need to answer questions about the authenticity of its claims, some of which have turned out to be true, while others were “fake news”.

The account is taken seriously by many South Africans, though, particularly its numerous accusations about the murder of late Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa.

The account has posted a series of tweets that have implicated several prominent South Africans in the murder of Meyiwa.

According to the account, Twala and Kelly Khumalo were among those who should be arrested for their alleged roles in the Meyiwa murder.

The tweets have also accused former Hawks boss Shadrack Sibiya of overseeing the murder of suspects, including a primary school teacher.

Colonel Andre Neethling and Colonel Leslie “Cowboy” Maluleke have been accused of orchestrating several cover-ups, including that of Meyiwa’s murder.

In February, it was reported that Twala was on a manhunt for this so-called “chief of black Twitter”. Twala had apparently hired “forensic social media experts” to that he could find and sue the person responsible for defamation.

Twala’s manager has dismissed the allegations that Twala’s son Longwe shot Meyiwa using Twala’s firearm as “nonsense”.

Twala himself has also said that his firearm has already been tested ballistically and cleared as not being the murder weapon, while Longwe has, according to his father, also been cleared as a suspect.
