Tshwane mayor Solly Msimanga loses Mercedes in hijacking in Midrand
The mayor was out with friends after giving his bodyguards the night off.

News24 reports that Mayor of Tshwane Solly Msimanga had his silver Mercedes-Benz CLS 250 stolen in a hijacking in Midrand in the early hours of Saturday morning.
He was reportedly hijacked as he was leaving a restaurant. Two men accosted him, while one had a gun. The mayor had no bodyguards with him at the time.
His tracking company apparently lost data on the car while it was headed to Pretoria North.
