Kidnapped Katlego found

The 13-year-old boy was abducted in front of his parent’s house in Tasbet Park this past Sunday.


The 13-year-old boy who was abducted in front of his parents’ house in Tasbet Park on May 20 was found unharmed, Witbank News reports.

On May 24, it is alleged the kidnappers dropped off Katlego Marite at Kromdraai. A passerby saw him in Vosman Phase 4 and asked him “why he was was outside” and that he “should be in school and not wandering around outside”.

Katlego then walked to Extension 10 to a school, where two public members recognised him from the Witbank News’ front page.

A teacher, a Mr Mnisi, was phoned by the police after his contact details were given to a police officer by the News reporter, whereafter the police phoned Mnisi, and instructed them to come to the police station.
