Malema’s idea of Winnie Mandela Airport in Cape Town catches fire
For many, the name change makes sense since Cape Town is already the Mother City.
When EFF leader Julius Malema said at Winnie Madikizela-Mandela’s funeral on Saturday that Cape Town International Airport should be renamed in her honour, it resonated with many.
The airport was briefly renamed on Wikipedia, while others started to photoshop signs to reflect the “new name”.
