A survey conducted by Ipsos in conjunction with 24-hour news channel eNCA between April 21 and May 22 has shown that only 18% of African National Congress voters support President Jacob Zuma’s continued stay in power.
The survey polled about 3 500 adults in the said period, and its results indicated that 62% of the governing party’s voters disapproved of Zuma amid a string of scandals that have dogged his time in office and calls by the ANC’s alliance partners, Cosatu and the SA Communist Party, for him to step down.
