The Mine Dumps that surround Soweto and it’s neighboring townships and Suburbs aren’t heaps of sand that we should overlook.
In fact according to researcher David Van Wyk, these mine dumps are a very big health hazard. Even though they are beneficial, people are getting sick and dying from them while those who are running these mines are getting richer and richer.
