Makhosi Khoza receives death threat telling her she has ‘21 days to live’

The outspoken ANC parliamentarian has become a victim of death threats after she criticised Zuma's leadership and slammed his government for being corrupt and greedy.

The threat was sent through WhatsApp and is one of many Khoza has received lately.

In the message she is told to vote against the upcoming debate on a motion of no confidence in President Jacob Zuma which is being spearheaded by several opposition parties.

“Vote against the motion and withdraw your statements and comments about the secret ballot. Do what is best for you and your family. You have 20 days left,” the message reads.

Khoza has claimed the speaker of parliament has not heeded her request for bodyguards and she feels even more vulnerable after Police Minister Fikile Mbalula likened her to a suicide bomber.

Khoza said she had reported the incident to police and nothing had happened.

In a statement posted to Facebook last week, Khoza said she was a victim of ‘liberation struggle credentials fatigue.’

“I’m a victim of liberation struggle credentials fatigue. It is very hard to leave one’s political  home voluntarily…I would to see South Africans united behind one mission that we all share and that is “Prosperity, Honesty, Quality and Human Dignity”.

“Let them push me out. Maybe I’ll be free from the liberation struggle credentials fatigue and possibly I might just offer an alternative to our racially, economically and morally divided society,” she said.
