Tensions have reached a high in Lenasia with police attempting to defuse a heated situation, where residents of Lenasia are protesting against land grabs occurring behind their properties.

Police have deployed stun grenades against residents of Lenasia Extension 2 during a community protest against perceived land grabs in the area. Residents have spoken out about the land grabs, saying they are upset that the value of their properties are decreasing.
