WATCH: EFF explains why they didn’t want ANN7 at People’s March
Angry EFF members laid into the Gupta-owned channel.
Economic Freedom Fighters members made it clear they did not want to see ANN7 broadcast the People’s March, which took place on Friday at Church Square in Tshwane.
The members said the channel was a propaganda machine and accused it of always being negative towards the opposition and those opposed to President Jacob Zuma in its reporting.
“We are tired of ANN7. They were only saying negative things about [former deputy finance minister Mcebisi] Jonas last night,” said one of the members.
At least one ANN7 journalist had water dumped on her for her troubles.
