Former social development director general’s house burgled

Nothing was taken from Zane Dangor's house though he has been told by police to return to provide more information.

“It was a house robbery in the middle of the day with two cars. Police say they can’t really make a case because nothing was stolen but I need to go back to the police station in the morning,” Dangor told EWN.

According to the website, Dangor, who was not home at the time, says two men arrived at his house earlier on Monday and told the helper they had been sent by him to fix something.

Dangor son escaped to a bedroom in the house and locked himself, his sister and helper and Dangor’s granddaughter.
