The public is advised to avoid roads and the area around the Metro Centre.
Violent protests are being expected in Braamfontein on Thursday and Friday, when members of the Students’ Organisation and Joburg Social Movement will be marching to the Metro Centre.
Hundreds of JMPD and SAPS officers will be on duty to divert traffic and control the situation. The public is advised to avoid roads and the area around Metro Centre so that they do not disrupt the officers in the execution of their duty.
