Former Eskom CEO Brian Molefe found himself trending on Twitter on Sunday after a revealing interview with eNCA about what his plans for Eskom would have been had he not resigned, his views on nuclear power and the problems currently faced by the power utility.
Molefe became Eskom CEO in April 2015 and later had to resign in November 2016 under a cloud of controversy after a report found links between him and the Gupta family. He then received a controversial R30-million payout from Eskom which many felt he should have not accepted.
