Passengers flying with SAA could experience delays as a result of a cabin crew strike.
Management of OR Tambo International Airport is aware of the strike by cabin crew of SAA from today and is closely monitoring the situation, Kempton Express reported.
“We are in close contact with the airline to ensure that we are prepared for all eventualities arising from the strike,” management said in a statement on Wednesday morning.
OR Tambo International Airport hopes for minimal disruption to airport operations and that the relevant parties can resolve the situation effectively as soon as possible.
However, the airport has contingency plans in place and hope for minimal disruption in order to ensure business continuity.
Passengers are advised to stay in contact with the airline for updates on the status of flights and bookings.
