Rouge – A rapper on the rise 

You may know her as “The girl with the hair” or recognise her distinctive vocals from the 2015 Metro Fm Awards Nominated smash hit remix of AKA’s Baddest; one thing is for sure though, Rouge means business and is determined to make her mark on the Continental hip hop scene in a big way.

Following her recent success with the release of single Bua which features Reason, Rouge has signed a 360 Management deal with VELTI Music Management (VMM) who have been instrumental in the management and launch of ‘North God’ in conjunction with the new Da L.E.S brand.

“For me Rouge is the most exciting Female artist in South African Urban Music,” says Paul Veltman, CEO of VMM.

“With her ability to sing, rap and deliver both in two different languages Is unique in itself, but together with her natural confidence and drive this will give Rouge the ability to transcend English and French speaking Africa and then eventually penetrate the European and French-Canadian markets.

“Right now we are building the all-important framework whilst Rouge focuses on writing and making music”.
