Pirates fans too quiet for my liking ahead of the Soweto Derby
I can’t help it but laugh when I hear Orlando Pirates fans talk about the back to back clashes between Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs… or better yet, the less talk coming from Bucs fans.

Reason being, this is the first time I have seen and heard that Bucs fans are scared to play Chiefs. I’m for real, I never saw this one coming.
Ao, MaBuccaneer, where is that pride and joy you have for your team whenever the Soweto derby is approaching? Sure, I know that things haven’t been going as anticipated for Pirates lately, while on the other hand, Amakhosi have been enjoying quite a good form.
But come on guys think again, this is the SOWETO DERBY. It’s a different ball game and I’m certain many of you will agree with me when I say that form doesn’t really count for nothing when it comes to this match.
You guys are not making it fun at all, I mean, I have barely seen the banter on the Pirates side on social media and some of my colleagues who support Pirates at my work-place are nowhere to be found.
I mean, it’s not really amusing and entertaining when we only hearing from Chiefs fans, who are eagerly waiting for the tie, while you guys (Pirates supporters) have gone mute. Look at the bright side, or rather the positive side, when was the last time Pirates lost to Chiefs?
I can’t even remember…
So come’n Ghosts, let the banter begin as we wait for the Telkom Knockout on November 2 and the Absa Premiership clash the following weekend. May the best team win!
