Let’s see if the German way will work for Pirates

Sure, Pirates did win the game against Black Leopards where the German was sitting on the bench. But truth is, he didn’t really make much of a change in the starting line-up, Pirates played mostly the same way as they did in the last couple of months and most importantly, he had little time to prepare his team.

But now, having gone through the Christmas break, Zinnbauer has certainly had enough time to know the players very well and this will help him make major changes in the team as he tries to steer Bucs into a formidable side.

Or maybe he might not need to make a wholesale change in the team because, the truth of the matter is, Pirates do have a good team and they have been playing very well – they have just been unfortunate when it comes to getting the results they want.

Maybe the players need some type of motivator and Zinnbauer is the type of coach who is able to lift the spirit of the players and help them to be always on their best, just maybe. Otherwise, as I said, time will tell.

The game against Bloemfontein Celtic over the weekend will be a huge test for the German, especially playing Phunya-Sele-Sele at their home.

It’s not easy to come out with the result out there and for Zinnbauer, I will just, good-luck.
