SA faces disaster as ANC leaders persist in corruption and incompetence, with policies worsening the country’s economic and social fabric.

No matter how one wants to sweeten what is unfolding in South Africa, the reality is that our government is stumbling from one disaster to the next with no end in sight.

Just recently, a sitting MP called for the death of Israel and US, as well as the execution of people who support a certain view. As usual, no action will be taken.

A dangerous and disastrous delusion is that the government of national unity (GNU) and a faction in the ANC can fix the economy they broke.

Since 1994, corruption has exceeded R700 billion while national debt has risen to R310 billion.

A recent terrifying report on the Government Employees’ Pension Fund exposed how the cadres in the ANC stole more than R10 billion a year. This is a crime of epic proportions and 2019 was the key that unlocked the looting of this fund.

Apart from this unchecked looting, the government’s disastrous economic policies have stifled development, created investor hesitancy and added to unemployment and poverty.

It refuses to cut our bloated, nonfunctioning civil service and cannot cut the budget as it would mean less money to be stolen, and an end to cadre-ism.

The proposed and disastrous increase on value-added tax is intended to fill the coffers to enable more theft while impoverishing the people.

And while people are drowning in debt, the government wants to increase other taxes to ensure the debt keeps growing while they keep stealing.

What no-one in government wants to admit is that we have a crisis of major proportions and it is driven by members of our own delusional government.

The wanton raiding of state coffers and neglect of our critical infrastructure has severe implications. Disjointed and pro-pariah state and pro-terror utterances have merely added fat to the fire.

As stated in a recent television discussion, South Africa imports 2.2 million tons of grain every year, equating to a delivery of 50 000 tons every nine days.

It requires 1 578 trucks every day to transport the grain from harbours to end points.

The damage done daily to our road infrastructure is immense as our rail network – Transnet – has been destroyed.

The countless potholes on our roads resemble the moon’s surface and there is no intention to fix them. Much of this damage is caused by heavy-duty trucks transporting what ought to be moved via Transnet. But there is no money to fix the potholes.

Our cities have become crime-riddled cesspools of filth where very little works, yet our leaders want to posit South Africa as a wonderful investment and tourist destination.

With crime out of control the ANC’s brains trust have come up with a disastrous new Bill: disarm and collapse the private security industry. Not only is it apparent that the government wants to ensure criminals have the advantage, but the security industry employs many thousands of people who will probably lose their jobs.

As the US anti-SA sanctions and tariffs take hold, it must be anticipated that there will be a bloodbath in the employment market. This delusional new law will ensure there is nothing to stand between criminals and a law-abiding society.

Given the GNU’s anti-US stance and the collapse of our economy, it must be anticipated that crime will escalate. The ANC cannot give a superpower the middle finger and expect no retaliation.

The US trade tariffs imposed on South Africa had been expected and soon it will hopefully be the sanctioning of our corrupt, misguided and incompetent leaders.

A recent poll found that more than 70% of voters are unhappy with the disastrous direction the government has embarked on. The government’s delusional policies to ensure unemployment, encourage illegal immigration and government-driven corruption are major reasons given during the poll.

As the ANC likes telling the world that Trump must keep his America, that is what is happening – and the cadres are getting nervous.

More trade sanctions and restrictions are bound to follow.

Our rand is approaching toilet paper-status. For the first time in our history, one British pound now equals R25.

Our failed electricity supply company has increased its price by over 500% since 2008 – how can we continue under this disaster of a government?

The majority party in the GNU is a rotting political carcass.

It is being hollowed out by opportunistic cadres who act as worms, their greed unstoppable.

And as the government stumbles from disaster to disaster, with no end in sight, our country and its people are considered as acceptable collateral damage.

We cannot continue to suffer these dangerous delusions.

Hard choices must be made as the country cannot afford our current disastrous greedy political leadership and its lack of vision.
