One killed in truck crash: TRAC estimates R2m damage to bridge
Having the truck hanging off the side of the bridge, its driver remained unscathed.
A truck and a car collided on the section of the N4 between Riverside Mall and where the road connects again near Cairn in the direction of Malalane.
It is alleged the driver of a red Nissan lost control when he had a blowout on one of his tyres and veered into the lane of oncoming traffic, ultimately colliding with a truck, Mpumalanga News reports.
The truck driver left the scene unscathed, but his truck was left hanging off the side of the bridge.
