The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) said on Saturday the investigation into allegations that Bosasa officials allegedly bribed prison officials to obtain tenders has been completed, News24 reports.
Tha authority’s spokesperson, Luvuyo Mfaku confirmed with the publication that the investigations had been concluded.
It was reported that Mfaku said that the prosecution team was analysing the docket relating to the matter.
Mfaku was quoted as saying that only after the analysis of the report had been concluded would the NPA decide on whether to prosecute any individuals.
This comes after testimony at the commission of inquiry into state capture by Bosasa’s former COO Angelo Agrizzi on Friday revealed that the controversial company had allegedly paid bribes to the department’s former chief financial officer Patrick Gillingham to secure tenders.
