UN, EU and AU condemn ‘despicable’ killing of DR Congo police
It is reported that 39 police officers have been killed in the Kasai region.

The UN, EU and African Union expressed “grave concern” Tuesday over violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s Kasai region including the reported killing of 39 police officers.
The organisations “condemn this despicable act and express their condolences to the families of the victims,” they said after Congolese national police accused rebels of killing officers in an ambush on Friday.
