Queen voices ‘deepest sympathy’ for victims of ‘awful’ attack
At least three people were killed and 20 injured when a man mowed down pedestrians with a car then stabbed a police officer outside parliament before being shot dead.
Queen Elizabeth II Thursday voiced her “deepest sympathy” with everyone affected by the terror attack outside the British parliament, condemning it as an act of “awful violence”.
“My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy are with all those who have been affected by yesterday’s awful violence,” she said in a message to the police in her first reaction since Wednesday’s attack.
