First it was Man vs Cheetah. Now it’s Man vs Airplane as South African rugby player, Bryan Habana, went head to head with a 366 000kg superjumbo over a 100m race.

The South African Rugby Player, who raced a cheetah in 2007 to help save the species from extinction, took on the British Airways’ superjumbo, the Airbus A380, in a 100m race. The plane came in at a height of 24m, with a wingspan of 80m and 73m in length – compared to Haban’s meagre 95kg and height of 1,80m.
