Cassper to do a live freestyle, Twitter disapproves

Following Cassper’s announcement that he will be performing live on ‘Sway In The Morning’, some have advised him to fake a headache.

All it took for Cassper Nyovest to trend on Twitter on Wednesday was to let his fans know he would be doing a live performance on Sway In The Morning. Cassper in is the US for the BET Awards, hopefully to bring home the Best International Act award.

While his fans were congratulating him on the new gig, being the first SA rapper to perform on the US show, most comments were negative. One Twitter user gave Cassper advice using “Robert Mugabe’s” words that if one kisses a girl from another country, he should do it well because he would be representing his entire country, telling the Skelm hitmaker to rap in vernacular because “he will be representing the whole country”.

“Dear Americans Cassper Nyovest is a kwaito artist and a Businessman. Thank u”, “Cassper will be on Sway? Hope he raps that 3rd verse on SKELM…Wouldn’t be the first time a rapper recycles verses, but he’ll get bashed” and “Cassper Nyovest on Sway, i hope Nasty C wrote a fire freestyle for him, coz mama i made it happy belated don’t cut it” are just some of the negative comments he received.

However, some have been positive, commending the Mama I made It hitmaker for putting South Africa on the map and achieving what “most people will never achieve in their lives”.
