Motorists are urged to use alternative routes as the Golden Highway has been closed by a group of community members from Sebokeng, Vanderbijlpark. The community is said to be protesting alleged illegal evictions by police, Sedibeng Ster reports.

The group barricaded the road with rocks and burning tyres early this morning.
Motorists are urged to be careful and use other routes to get to their various destinations.
