Expect heavy rain and possible flooding, warns the SA Weather Service

The South African Weather Service has advised that heavy rain leading to localised flooding is expected in Gauteng, among other provinces, on Thursday and continuing on Friday, Midrand Reporter reports.

The City of Joburg’s Emergency Management Services said they were on high alert following the warning.

The north of Pretoria has already experienced heavy downpours this evening (21 March) with flooding.
