Woman shot while jogging in Sandton

A woman, believed to be in her 20s, was shot and killed while jogging along Zinnia Drive in Marlboro Gardens, Sandton, reports Sandton Chronicle.
ER24 paramedics, along with the City of Johannesburg EMS, arrived on the scene this morning to find local authorities already in attendance.

Upon closer inspection, paramedics found the body of a woman lying on the sidewalk. Assessments showed that the woman had sustained a gunshot wound to her chest and abdomen.
Unfortunately, the woman had already succumbed to her injuries. Nothing more could be done for her, and she was declared dead at the scene.
The exact details are not known to paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
