Truck drives over car in horror KZN N2 crash

One person was killed after a fuel tanker collided with a car on the N2 near the Tugela bridge in KwaZulu-Natal this morning, North Coast Courier reports.
Paramedics arrived to find the driver of the car had succumbed to their injuries.

“The truck went over the light motor vehicle, entrapping the deceased driver,” said Paul Herbst of IPSS Medical Rescue.
The KwaDukuza Fire Department used the jaws of life to free the body from the wreckage.
The driver of the truck escaped with minor injuries.
Traffic was severely backed up and was diverted into the oncoming fast lane.
The N2 northbound lane remained closed until the scene was cleared.
