The GDE said they would investigate the circumstances surrounding a Valentine’s dance at Hoërskool Roodepoort that went pear-shaped and allegedly turned into a mini-riot.

Then there is the incident at West Ridge Secondary School where a teacher allegedly had an inappropriate relationship with a learner.

The third incident happened this past Monday (26 February) when a schoolboy from one school stabbed another boy from another school.

The Roodepoort Record made various attempts to get comment and updates on the status of the investigation, but has received no response yet.
