The shoot-out ensued after the getaway vehicle was spotted on the M13.

Five suspects were killed and one injured during a shoot-out with police earlier today, after they allegedly robbed a house in Kloof, KwaZulu-Natal, Highway Mail reports.

Pinetown Cluster communications officer, Capt Mazwi Mbatha, said the SAPS K9 Unit spotted the getaway car, a white Mercedes Benz, on the M13 and gave chase.
