Gautrain bus service suspended

Gautrain yet to determine why bus drivers embarked on unplanned strike.

The Gautrain bus service was temporarily suspended on Wednesday afternoon, Pretoria East Rekord reports.

Spokesperson Kesagee Nayager confirmed the bus service was suspended due to unplanned labour action by the drivers.

“Management and shop stewards have been in talks since early this morning to determine and resolve the grievance,” she said.

Gautrain bus service users were advised to make alternative transport arrangements.

Nayager could not say when the bus service would be restored.

“[Service is suspended] until further notice,” she said.
