5 armed men rob Centurion pawn shop

The armed robbers escaped in two vehicles.


Five armed men robbed a pawn store in Raslouw, Centurion on Wednesday morning, Centurion Rekord reports.

Spokesperson for Centurion Concerned Citizen Hannes du Buisson said the robbery at Cash Crusaders took place around in the morning.

“Five armed men entered the store and took multiple items. It is believed that the robbers were unable to open the safe,” he said.

Du Buisson said the robbers fled in two vehicles.

“They fled in a maroon SUV with a registration number of HZM 038 MP and a silver Toyota Carolla DC 12 SC GP.

No injuries were reported,” he said.

Cash Crusaders manager confirmed that the store was robbed but could not provide further information.

Wiedabrug police were unaware of the robbery.
